YMCA hosts local meet Santa Claus event

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Santa Claus made a pit stop at the YMCA on Saturday.

Children and their families lined up with their Christmas list for the 10th Annual Photos with Santa event.

"It's just an opportunity for families to come in and have their pictures taken with Santa. It's open to the community. We are working with Horsin Around Photo Booth to get pictures done for all the families," Annie Clary, YMCA Executive Director, spoke.

The overall admission was $5.00.

Also, "The event funds our programs like our child care program, after school program, and [seasonal] camps," Tracy Jones, Yuma Childcare Director, spoke.

Santa will then make his next appearance at "It's a Christmas Ball" on Friday, December, 9th.

The event, located at the Yuma Civic Center, starts from 5:30pm to 10:30pm.
