YRMC modifies visitor restrictions ahead of flu season

KYMA

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Cases of the flu are on the rise, and the Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC) is combating against it.

With this in mind, the YRMC are modifying their visitor restrictions at the hospital as of Wednesday.

According to a press release, the minimum visitor age will change from 13 to 16-years-old or older.

However, there is an exception where anyone 16-years-old or younger is a patient or a parent of the patient.

Also, YRMC asks anyone to not visit the hospital if they experience symptoms of the flu or of any known illnesses.

To read more about this, see the press release below.
