ATIVO Senior Living is inviting the public to come out and meet its residents

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - As far as costumes go, witches, zombies, and vampires are timeless. But, in the last few decades, costumes have gone from playful to horrifying and even mildly erotic.

But, to truly;y understand what Halloween was like in the 40s, 50s, and 60s you have to go to the source. And, that's where ATIVO Senior Living comes into play.

The assisted living complex is hosting a Halloween event and is inviting the public to come out and take a trip down memory lane. It's all part of ATIVO's process in which they connect its residents to the local youth.

So, on Sunday, October 31, 2021, Halloween Day the complex will be opening its doors and give children a chance to collect some candy, play some games and even get some refreshments.

The event will be held at ATIVO's courtyard from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (10565 S. Commercial Centre Loop). The complex is located north of North Frontage Road and just east of Fortuna Road behind the Pizza Hut in the Yuma's Foothills.
