High-risk sex offender has a new address in Yuma

Yuma County Sheriff's Office

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Deputies notify the community of a sex offender who recently changed his home address.

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office says 34-year-old Emerio Francisco Gutierrez, Jr., now lives at the 10300 block of E. 29th Lane in Yuma.

They say Gutierrez is a level three sex offender, which makes him a high risk to the community.

Back in September 2005, Gutierrez pled guilty to one count of attempted sexual conduct with a minor. His victim was a 10-year-old girl. In June 2010, Gutierrez failed to register as a sex offender.

A judge sentenced Gutierrez to three and a half years in prison with credit for three months served. Gutierrez is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
