YUHSD seeks decathlon judges
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Cibola High is hosting the 2020 Academic Decathlon Regional competition, and the event is in need of judges.
The event is held from January 31, to February 1, welcoming various schools for the regional competition.
Winners of the regional competition advance to the state-level competition in March.
In 2019, Cibola's Acedemic Decathlon team placed 10th in the state-- the highest finish by any YUHSD school in over a decade.
Interested community members available to help judge essays, speeches or interviews are encouraged to fill-out the following form:
Friday judges should expect to be at Cibola high from 3:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday test proctors should expect to be present from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m.
