Heber cheer team left with nothing after car fire

HEBER, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - A Heber dance and cheer coach is trying to recover after her car and months of her team’s hard work were destroyed in a fire on the July 10.

Anel Núñez says her vehicle was intentionally set on fire. Inside were uniforms, equipment, and supplies for her youth dance team.

"It's gone. Everything is gone. The uniforms are gone. The car is gone," Núñez said.

Despite the loss, Núñez says she's committed to keeping her team’s spirit alive and continuing their work.

Local law enforcement is investigating the fire.
