Four arrested in last weekend’s shooting in Brawley
BRAWLEY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Four suspects have been arrested and charged for a shooting which took place in Brawley last weekend.
According to the Brawley Police Department (BPD), the suspects, ages 22, 21, 23 and 17, have been formally charged with attempted murder, accessory to murder and unlawful possession of firearms.
BPD says the shooting happened on March 16 in Brawley, near the intersection of North Imperial and River Drive, where 17-year-old boy suffered gunshot wounds to the upper thigh area. The victim is said to have survived.
During the arrest, BPD says officers recovered two semiautomatic handguns.
