Man allegedly raped a minor in Mexico and a woman in Brawley

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - A Mexicali mother is speaking out after her daughter claims she was drugged and raped by a man last Friday.

This follows after another woman claims that the same man also raped her last year in Brawley.

The mother says her 15-year-old daughter was allegedly drugged, beat and raped on her first day of work last Friday.

"I haven't slept and I hope he hasn't either," said Liliana Lopez, who is the mother of one of the alleged victims.

Liliana Lopez says her daughter was allegedly drugged, beat and rapped on her first day of work last Friday.

She says her daughter sent her a text message saying, "I'm getting sexually abused. Come with the police."

"When I got there with the police, she told me what he did to her. He recorded her, he hit her, he made her drink. My daughter was telling the police to go and check his phone, go see all the beers, my daughter was telling the police everything and they weren't doing anything, and he just went back inside and continued to drink beer. He was saying it was all a lie," said Lopez.

The victim's mother made a post on social media about the alleged abuse, which encouraged a woman from Brawley to come forward.

"He drugged me, he kidnapped me and he raped me," said the alleged victim from Brawley and wants to remain anonymous.

The 33-year-old alleged victim says the man was her boss. One night, she, along with another co-worker and her former boss, went out for some drinks. She claims she felt like she had been drugged and that is when the man took her to their work.
