Carrot Queen applications now available
HOLTVILLE, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The applications for this year's Carrot Queen & Princess is now available for girls who want to participate.
The Holtville Chamber of Commerce is looking for three young ladies for the categories of Carrot Queen, Carrot Princess and Carrot Junior Princess.
The Holtville Chamber of Commerce executive director says the winners will be selected based on the raffle ticket sales, public speaking and a live interview.
Last year's winners say this is a great contest to be a part of. This year, the competition will add something new, like being interviewed live by judges.
The executive director says all contestants will receive 25% of their raffle ticket sales.Â
