Local non-profit organization accepting back-to-school donations

BRAWLEY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Back-to-school season is approaching and a local non-profit organization, Feed the Need, is accepting donations.

Brawley's Feed the Need is accepting donations of gently used clothes, gently used shoes, new clothes, new socks, and new underwear in children and teen sizes only.

Feed the Need said all donated items will be for the organization's Back to School distribution.

The organization said they extended this service to Westmoreland, Calipatria, and Niland.

Drop-off is open Monday to Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., or contact them to set up additional drop-off times at (760) 623-1055.

Feed the Need said not to leave donations outside of our doors.
