El Centro police investigate shooting outside a bar
EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - A person was shot outside a bar in El Centro and police are still searching for multiple suspects.
The shooting happened Sunday morning in front of Lovin's Cantina in El Centro.
The victim was shot in the upper chest area and was rushed to the hospital.
They are currently in stable condition.
The lead investigator said there are at least six men involved and shared what kinds of guns were used in the crime.
“The weapons used were different calibers and they were handguns used in the shooting from what we can tell you right now," said Detective Alex Garrido.
The El Centro Police Department said they don't know if there is a connection between the victim and the suspects at the moment as it is still under investigation.
