Man found not breathing in Imperial home, ruled as homicide

IMPERIAL, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - On Sept. 24, the Imperial Police Department responded to a call about a 55-year-old not breathing at his home.

The Imperial County Fire Department identified the male as Frank Contreras and pronounced him deceased.

Witnesses stated that Contreras was found with a bag over his head and had an injury to his right eye.

Authorities then ruled the death as a homicide.
