UPDATE: Sunset Park Irrigation Project

Phase two begins in accordance with PROP 68

IMPERIAL, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The City of Imperial announced Friday that phase two of the Sunset Park Irrigation Improvement Project is currently underway.

Both the softball and tee-ball fields at within the park have received new irrigation lines and sprinkler systems.

With warmer temperatures, the City has also seeded the ball fields at Sunset Park. These fields will be closed for the summer to ensure the germination process is complete.

Parks and Recreation staff asks for the community’s help in keeping people off the fields during this process.
