McDonald’s brings more than ‘Happy Meals’ to the Valley

Four locations participate in job growth opportunities

IMPERIAL, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - McDonald's of the Imperial Valley has planned a Hiring Day on Wednesday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with expectations to hire 100 new employees.

“As small business owners, we’re proud to be able to provide jobs in our local communities,” expressed Michelle Slayton, president of the local McDonald’s Owner/Operators association. 

Interested candidates may simply visit select Imperial Valley McDonald’s locations and receive an interview opportunity on the spot, no prior scheduling required.

  3. El Centro

“McDonald’s is a people-first business and our restaurants are a great place to gain life skills and grow both as an individual and professionally,” said Slayton.

In addition to visiting select McDonald’s locations on April 28, job seekers may also text ‘worksforme’ to 36453 to start an application via text.

To ensure a health-safe working environment, McDonald’s restaurants have implemented more than 50 COVID-19 safety procedures to protect crew and customers. These include wellness and temperature checks, masks and gloves for employees, social distancing floor stickers, and protective barriers at order points, with the addition of new procedures and training.
