Valley residents can bring holiday cheer to a foster child
IMPERIAL, Calif. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY)- Community members can brighten a foster child's holiday season.
Valley residents can drop by the Imperial Chamber of Commerce and select a foster child from their angel tree and ensure that they have a present this Christmas.
Susan Paradis, Executive Director of the Imperial Chamber of Commerce, said the four-year tradition benefits over seventy-five foster children every holiday season.Â
"A lot of kids especially those in foster care, may go back to school and not have anything to say they got from Santa or they got for Christmas. And so this allows them or gives them the opportunity to share with their friends. 'I got this and I got that,' and be excited," said Paradis.
Residents have until December 20 to participate.
