Looking at the different parts of the 4-H program

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - In Tuesday's Home Grown report, with the fair officially here, kids throughout Yuma County are taking part in the local 4-H program.

However, the program isn't just about animals, it also has a "Home EC" branch.

This includes cooking, sewing, and fine arts.

Levi Padilla, a local student, who has competed in a variety of programs shares what he's learned from 4-H.

"It definitely helps me expand. I've met many friends, I've made many clubs, I've done many projects, and '’ve learned many things," said Padilla.

If your child or anyone you know would like to be a part of the program, enrollment begins in September.
