Judge in Tyler Robinson capital murder case announces several decisions regarding public access

PROVO, Utah (NBC, KYMA) - The judge in the Tyler Robinson capital murder case announced several decisions Monday morning regarding past and future public access to the case.

Monday's hearing was conducted remotely.

Fourth District Judge Tony Graf agreed to turn off Robinson's video during the hearing, allowing him to make an "appearance" by audio only.

Judge Graf ruled that the transcript and audio recordings of a closed-door hearing in October involving Robinson can be released in redacted forms.

Robinson, a 22-year-old man from Washington, Utah, is charged with shooting and killing Charlie Kirk on September 10.
