Prosecutors say Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs should spend more than 11 years in prison
(NBC, KYMA) - Prosecutors are seeking more than an 11-year sentence for Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Combs is set to be sentenced Friday on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prosecution.
In a memo, prosecutors argued that despite his acquittal on more serious charges, Combs is "unrepentant" and left victims in fear.
They say Combs held all the power over the people he transported.
Prosecutors argued the sentence should reflect Combs' "decades of unchecked violence" and "decades of psychological, emotional and physical damage he has inflicted."
Defense attorneys are calling the recommendation "draconian."
