Two dead in gym shooting in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A shooting inside a Las Vegas gym Friday afternoon left two people dead. Police say several others were hurt.

The shooting happened at the Las Vegas Athletic Club on North Rainbow Boulevard.

Witnesses say the shooter appeared to be targeting someone.

Police say officers shot the suspect, but was later pronounced dead.

According to a spokesperson at the University Medical Center, four people are being treated there. One of those patients is in critical condition.
