Two men arrested for stealing almost 500 pairs of Jordan shoes
IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Border Patrol agents at the El Centro Sector arrested two men and seized almost 500 pairs of Jordan shoes last week.
According to a post on Facebook, the agents found the men with 478 pairs of Jordans worth over $81,000.
The post says the men are suspected of a train theft ring who rip off goods, like the sneakers, by breaking into freight train railcars.
According to the post, the two men are facing charges of re-entry after deportation and theft from interstate or foreign shipment charges.
