Man in custody after barricading himself inside a home

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A man barricaded himself inside a home after the Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) and the U.S. Marshals Service had a warrant for his arrest.

In a press release, the incident took place last Saturday when the man barricaded himself inside a residential home located on East 34th Street in Yuma.

The press release says the Yuma Police Department's (YPD) Special Enforcement Team responded to the scene to help with the arrest.

The suspect was then arrested and taken into custody, according to the press release, and will later be booked into the Yuma County Adult Detention Center.
