New evidence in house party shooting

KYMA

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The attorney of a teen accused of murdering two young men at a Yuma house party says he has new evidence showing his client is not guilty.

The attorney for 18-year-old Jose Lopez said he has evidence tying 19-year-old Abraham Colin as the one who actually fired the shots with a rifle.

A judge granted the attorney additional time to go over the new evidence.

Both suspects were arrested in connection to the shooting that killed 19-year-old Danny Garcia and 20-year-old Ande Blackthunder in May.

Five others were also injured in the shooting.

Lopez will be back in court in September.
