Shooting occurred in Greensboro, two dead and five injured

GREENSBORO, N.C. (NBC) - Two people died and five suffered injuries in overnight shootings in Greensboro, North Carolina.

At around 11:30pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, authorities responded to the first incident in a neighborhood near North Carolina A&T University where they found two victims shot.

That incident is classified as a double homicide.

Later, police found out four more victims arrived at a hospital with gun shot wounds as well.

Twenty minutes later, and just miles away, police responded to a second shooting.

At that scene, they found one person shot, and paramedics transported the person to the hospital.

The authorities did not share the extent of the injuries in both cases.

So far, the identities of those involved are unknown.
