Arizona man sentenced to 18 years in prison after killing partner

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - A man from Arizona was sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to second degree murder.
Leon Lee Jones, 18, plead guilty to shooting and a killing a victim who was his intimate partner.
The murder occurred on July 11, 2018 in Arizona's Navajo Nation and Jones is now facing 18 years in prison with five years of supervised release.
