YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Public Health District confirmed 12 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) Monday, bringing the total to 211.
Hundreds of tests were administered countywide as part of Arizona's "Testing Blitz" Saturday, reflected in the number of tests now administered countywide — 2,417.
The death toll remains at 3.
The county also sees another decrease in hospitalizations dropping by one patient. The county has not released specific information regarding COVID-19 recoveries.
The latest statistics indicate eight new patients are female and four are male. The 20-44 age range continues with the highest number of cases, making up 42 percent of the total infected population.
Numbers show there is an increase of one patient in the critical 65-and-older category, now at 35
