SACRAMENTO (KYMA, KECY) - California Governor Gavin Newsom will draw 15 winners to receive $50,000 as part of the state's $116.5 million Vax for the Win program.

Gov. Newsom said the incentive program would encourage more Californians to get vaccinated. Last week, officials selected 30 winners for the $50,000 Friday cash prize drawing. But on June 15, $1.5 million will be awarded to 10 lucky Californians who have received the COVID vaccine.
