San Luis Rio Colorado leads Sonora with 147 cases

320 cases in total in Sonora
SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY) - Sonoran Health officials report a spike of 15 cases statewide, and San Luis Rio Colorado (SLRC) continues to lead the state in total cases.
With 147 confirmed cases, SLRC makes-up almost half of Sonora's cases.
The latest statistics provided by Sonora's Health Secretary Enrique Clausen Iberri say there are now a total of 35 deaths in the state.
Of these, 14 pertain to SLRC alone.
Iberri says the latest death in SLRC was a 69 year old man. He first experienced respiratory symptoms on April 14 and needed to be hospitalized on April 19, in SLRC's general hospital.
The patient was transferred to a hospital in Mexicali where he was put on a ventilator. Iberri says he regrettably died shortly afterwards.
In his daily press conference, Iberri confirmed five of the 15 new case in Sonora belong to SLRC.
