2nd Del Sol employee tests positive for COVID-19

Del Sol on 16th Ave will close temporarily to "mitigate the risk"

YUMA, Ariz. (KECY/KYMA) - A second employee has tested positive for Coronavirus at a Del Sol Market in Yuma, Del Sol announced on Saturday morning.

The employee last worked at the 16th Street location, the same location where a first employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The chain has decided to temporarily close the 16th Street and 4th Avenue location as a precaution.

Del Sol's announcement dated April 17th, 2020 of a 2nd employee testing positive for COVID-19 at the same location where a 1st employee tested positive.

Del Sol also mentioned that all their other locations across Yuma County will remain open while taking extra precautions to ensure customer and employee safety.

Amongst the precautions, Del Sol will now be limiting the number of people inside each of their stores, having limited shopping hours from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m as well as adding social distancing signage inside of their stores.
