Federal officers arrests two people at San Francisco International Airport

SAN FRANCISCO (NBC, KYMA) - An incident involving ICE officers and a crying woman at a California airport is getting a lot of attention.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) says two ICE officers were escorting a mother and daughter from Sacramento to San Francisco International Airport when the woman tried to escape.

DHS says the officers arrested her, which is what the social media video shows.

In the video, officers ignored bystanders requests to see their badges. They were not in uniform.

DHS says Angelina Lopez-Jimenez and her family have a final deportation order dating back to 2019.

ICE plans to return them to Guatemala.
