L.A. Sheriff’s Department launches investigation into sexual battery allegations against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

LOS ANGELES (CNN, KYMA) - Sean "Diddy" Combs is now at the center of a new investigation in Los Angeles.
The investigation stems from sexual battery allegations from a male accuser who previously filed a civil suit against the musician.
The accuser, whose name is redacted, claims Combs masturbated in front of him in 2020 and forced him to perform oral sex on him in 2021.
The scope of the investigation and whether the probe will result in new charges against Combs is unclear at this time, though a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department confirms their Special Victims Bureau is investigating.
To date, Combs is facing roughly 70 civil lawsuits. He denies the allegations in all of them.
Combs is currently serving a more than four year sentence in federal prison for his prostitution-related conviction.
