Body found in trunk of car at a Los Angeles tow yard

LOS ANGELES (CNN, KYMA/KECY) - Police in Los Angeles say they found a body inside an impounded Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard.

The vehicle is reportedly registered to singer d4vd, whose real name is David Burke.

Officers responded to the location Monday after a report of a foul odor coming from an impounded car.

There isn't any information yet about the identity of the body, which had been placed inside a bag and was discovered in the front trunk of the Tesla.

According to police, the car had been at the impound lot for a couple of days.

Burke is currently on his world tour, but is said to be cooperating with the investigation.
