Parents of missing California baby arraigned

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (CNN, KYMA/KECY) - The parents of a missing California baby appeared in court in Riverside County last week.

Jake and Rebecca Haro are accused of murdering their seven-month-old son Emmanuel as well as filing a false police report. They both pleaded not guilty during last week's arraignment.

Last month, Rebecca Haro claimed her son was kidnapped after she attacked in a parking lot, but police said there were inconsistencies with the couple's stories and they were later arrested.

The district attorney says they believe Emmanuel was abused over time and succumbed to his injuries.

The baby's remains have not yet been found, and the couple's bail was set at $1 million.
