Tesla opens diner and drive-in theater in Hollywood
LOS ANGELES (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Tesla's first diner and Supercharging station opened on Monday in Hollywood.
The diner is open 24-hours, seven days a week and serves traditional American diner food. The retro-futuristic pit stop also features two large movie screens.
It is open to anyone, but some features require a Tesla vehicle.
Tesla owners can park in the lot and order anything on the vehicle's interface. The Tesla vehicles will also sync with the audio playing on the movie screens into the vehicle speakers.
The location also offers 80 V4 charging stalls, and customers can wait for their vehicle to be fully charged while they wait for their food.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he plans to open more locations if the initial diner proves successful.
