California man arrested in deadly shooting of ‘American Idol’ music supervisor and her husband

(NBC, KYMA/KECY) - An arrest has been made in the deadly shooting of an award-winning "American Idol" music supervisor and her husband.

Robin Kaye and Thomas Deluca were found dead in their home in Encino with multiple gunshot wounds on July 14.

The suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian.

Investigators do not believe Boodarian had a relationship with the victims. They say he was allegedly burglarizing the residence when the couple came home, and he shot and killed them during a struggle.

Kaye had been with "American Idol" since 2009. A spokesperson for the show said she was "truly loved and respected by all who came in contact with her."

Both she and her husband were 70-years-old.
