Six people injured in shooting outside barbershop in California

STOCKTON, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Police are investigating a shooting incident which left six people injured in Stockton, California, Friday.

According to the Stockton Police Department (SPD), the shooting happened in the area of Dr. M.L.K. Jr. Boulevard and Lincoln Street, outside of a barbershop.

Three men had been shot and took themselves to an area hospital while three other men were taken to the hospital with various injuries.

"So all our victims ranged from 19- to 48-years-old, suffered at least one gunshot wound each, but they're all expected to survive," said Officer Omer Edhah with SPD.

Police did not share any suspect information and said no arrests were made. However, they believe this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.

"And we'll leave no rock unturned until we find out the details," Officer Edhah declared.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is encouraged to contact SPD.
