California man’s car bursts into flames during high speed chase

LOS ANGELES (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Flames shot from a driver's car on the Interstate 5 (I-5) freeway in Elysian Valley over the weekend.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) said the chase started over a traffic violation.

It ended with the driver stopping the car on the freeway and walking around lanes before being arrested.

He fought back at first, but was eventually taken into custody.
