Investigation underway after a woman was found dead in north Sacramento apartment
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Police are investigating after a woman was found dead in a north Sacramento apartment on Tuesday.
According to the Sacramento Police Department (SPD), the discovery was made just before 3:30 p.m. at the Mosaic Garden at Taylor Terrace Apartments along Taylor Street.
When officials arrived on the scene they found one woman with at least one gunshot wound.
She was declared dead on the scene, and her name has not been released.
No details are available on a suspect or a motive, but officials say homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
