Los Angeles fire crews battle destructive pallet fire

LOS ANGELES (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Crews in California knocked down a destructive pallet fire reported in Sun Valley Monday night.

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) arrived on the scene shortly before 10:00 p.m.

The large fire consumed pallet storage, multiple vehicles, including box trucks, and other items in the storage yard.

Crews worked to protect nearby commercial buildings while continuing to douse the flames with heavy streams.

Officials have not reported any injuries as a result of the fire and the cause is under investigation.
