One person dead in plane crash, investigation ongoing

CONCORD, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - One person was killed in a small plane crash in Northern California Tuesday morning

The plane went down in the road near Buchanan Field Airport in Concord.

Fire officials said the plane was an RV-6, which is a kit aircraft.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
