Two people dead, one injured in California house party shooting

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Two people were killed, and a third person wounded, during an overnight shooting at a house party in Moreno Valley, according to CBS News Los Angeles.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department told CBS News Los Angeles that when their deputies arrived to the house, one victim was found dead but two others were rushed to the hospital.

One of the hospitalized victims died a short time later. The third victim was listed in critical condition, CBS News Los Angeles reported.

SkyCal video showed a parked white sedan with its doors and trunk open. Deputies told CBS News Los Angeles they were investigating the car but did not disclose further information.

The victims in the shooting have not been named while authorities identify next of kin.

No suspect information was released by law enforcement.
