Three people injured in multi-county shooting in California

YOLO COUNTY, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - At least three people were injured in a multi-county shooting in California on Thursday.

Authorities say there were two scenes: One in Colusa County and the other in Yolo County. Both were right along Interstate Five (I-5).

Police found three shooting victims: Two were in Colusa County while the other victim was in Yolo County.

Traffic was backed up for miles on the interstate. A crashed vehicle was located just off the side of the interstate.

Police say they have the suspect in custody. No fatalities have been reported. It is not known what led to the shooting, but the incident is under investigation.
