California firefighters get a handle on “Scott Fire”

YUBA COUNTY, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Firefighters said they were getting a handle on a wildfire, named the Scott Fire, in Yuba County on Friday.

The fire started near Scott Grand Road.

Cal Fire says they have stopped the fire from spreading at just under 100 acres.

As of 9:00pm on Thursday, all evacuation orders and warnings were lifted. However, a total of 475 structures were threatened.
