Strong winds and rain topple California trees

MONTEREY, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A recent storm brought on rain and strong winds that caused many trees to topple across the central California coast.

Trees came down on wires and blocked roads, forcing drivers to find alternate routes.

Entire neighborhoods were left without power as some of those trees came down on power lines.

Crews are out working to restore power and clear roads.

No injuries have been reported.
