Billy Idol receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Rock icon Billy Idol received his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday.

Idol's star is the first star of 2023, and the 2,743rd, overall, on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Idol also earned the star in the category of recording.

Furthermore, Idol is most famous for classic hits like White Wedding, Rebel Yell, and Dancing with Myself.

The star is in front of Amoeba Music, forever cementing Idol in the Walk of Fame.
