California vehicle drives through carnival

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (NBC) - In Los Angeles, at least six people suffered injuries Saturday, November 12, 2022 when a vehicle drove through a local carnival.

The incident occurred just after 8:00pm along a street in the South Central area.

The LAPD said they were attempting to conduct a traffic stop when the driver of a white late-model Porsche Cayenne SUV drove through the carnival.

Six people suffered injuries to their legs and transported to a hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Later on, the LAPD found a vehicle matching the Porsche's description about three blocks from the scene.

They then took one person into custody.

Police said it is unclear if the crash was intentional.
