Blaze in the Pacific Palisades has scorched over 1,300 acres

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - Fire crews in Southern California continue to battle a brush fire that began on Friday in the Pacific Palisades.

Officials have ordered evacuations for about 1,000 residents living nearby. So far, no structures have been lost to the blaze and no injuries have been reported.

The fire is believed to have started Friday evening and has deemed being very "suspicious."

A search us underway to find the person suspected of setting the fire.
