Second pilot in New Jersey helicopter crash dies

HAMMONTON, N.J. (NBC, KYMA) - The second pilot involved in the mid-air helicopter crash in Hammonton, New Jersey Sunday has died.

Two Enstrom helicopters departed from the Hammonton Municipal Airport when the crash happened.

The pilot of one helicopter, identified as 71-year-old Michael Greenberg of Sewell, New Jersey, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pilot of the second helicopter, identified as 65-year-old Kenneth Kirsch of Carney's Point, New Jersey, was flown to the hospital with critical life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.

Both the FAA and NTSB are investigating the crash.
