Two dead, six injured in shooting in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (CNN, KYMA/KECY) - An investigation is underway after two people were killed and several others wounded in a shooting in Downtown Los Angeles early Monday morning.
Police say the shooting happened in an area where there were multiple parties. They say one was shut down late Sunday night, ending in the arrest of a person allegedly in possession of a gun.
Officers then returned to the scene hours later after receiving calls about a shooting.
One man died at the scene and a woman later died at the hospital. Six other people were wounded. Their ages range from 26 to 62-years-old.
It was not clear if arrests were made in the shooting incident.
