Airplane crash near Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.
(KYMA, KECY/NBC) - An airplane has crashed into a helicopter in Washington, D.C.
The crash happened near Reagan National Airport and rescuers have been making attempts to find any survivors.
NBC says there appear to be multiple fatalities but has not been confirmed so far.
Search efforts have been underway along the Potomac River with the use of helicopters and boats.
