Helicopter makes hard landing in Arizona

PHOENIX (NBC, KYMA) - A helicopter made a hard landing in Arizona, hard enough that the propeller and tail rotor are both missing.

The Phoenix Fire Department received reports at around 10 a.m. about an aircraft down in north Phoenix.

Officials said the two pilots described it as "hard landing," and said the pilots weren't hurt.

The investigation is ongoing.
